Summer is a Chartered Professional Accountant who received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. She then articled with a national firm in Vancouver earning her CA designation in 2008.
In 2010, Summer and her husband Cam left Vancouver to drive from Alaska to Argentina. On this trip they fell in love with the smaller communities along the way and in 2012 they settled in the Comox Valley.
Summer has over 17 years of experience working in public accounting, where she works closely with small business owners and not for profit organizations. She provides accounting, assurance, taxation and business advisory services and works with clients from start-up to retirement planning (and everything in between).
Summer and Cam live in Cumberland with their two young daughters. Summer enjoys racing down Mt. Washington on her skis, exploring the Valley and spending time with family and friends.
